3HM reveal tracklist and artwork



Melissa Records, the Dutch label exclusively dedicated to releasing metal from the USA, is proud to reveal the tracklist and artwork for the upcoming debut album by New England’s Three Headed Monster, 3HM for short. 3HM will feature eight songs of instrumental metal madness, in a style that deftly mixes power and thrash metal with a truckload of guitar shred. The song titles are:



1. Varan
2. Perfect-Plex
3. The Beast of Odo Island
4. Ultimate Rage
5. Bloodbath II
6. Ides of March
7. Bitter End
8. Engines of AKI



Comments guitarist Chris Cecchini in the band’s studio diary: ‘So late last year we walked into Jay Maas' Getaway Studios, determined to make the very best funk/r&b/jazz fusion album for you. Then suddenly, we remembered that we were a metal band and that we didn't have any funk/jazz/fusion songs, all we had were metal songs! Would this still be the greatest funk album of all time?! Then most of us (except Andy) remembered that funk was really gay and we soon discovered that we had the makings of a bad ass metal album on our hands, and away we went!’



The striking artwork comes courtesy of Jan Yrlund of Darkgrove Design (www.darkgrove.net). Yrlund is well-known for his work on numerous sleeve and booklet designs (Seventh Calling, Týr, Everon and Satyrian to name but a few).

3HM will be released on Melissa Records in the Fall of 2007, together with Evolution bound, the debut album from technical power metallers Ancient Creation.

Wait, it's a split? Or they're just releasing both albums separately.

Well, we're looking for shows right now. As of right now it's not booked, but I'm gonna go ahead and say that we'll probably have a show and a party for it at like...Goodtimes or something. Considering it's basically the only place we've played this year.

that monster has four heads

that fourth head actually doesnt belong to that monster, it is the head of a different monster which is somewhat behind the logo.

Pathogenic is really looking forward to playing with 3 Headed Monster at O'Briens on the 16th!

i will more than likely be in attendance at this show as well. been looking forward to checking out pathogenic and its been a while since ive heckled a 3hm set.
