By the way Jeff, don't forget to copywright that shit. Best way to do it is as an album, that way you don't have to worry about doing the lyrics, artwork, logo, music, etc. seperately. It's still gonna be a little while til I can send it out, but I promise you that once I have every dime for it It'll be out there and ready for manufacturing.
Just called Joel but got no answer but yeah show has been canceled.
The story is that Rich from NH Booking paid for booking the hall using checks on 2 seperate occassions. The check for today and for another show both bounced and now there's no way to pay the $350.00 to rent the hall I guess and the legion isn't too happy at the moment.
There's the scoop, now I have the task of hunting down all the bands and letting them know it's not going down tonight.
That's not how they story was at all, it was a big missunderstanding. Rich from NHBOOKING gave the town of milford a check for $1000 to hold, because he didn't have the money in his account. He dated it and everything, and the town knew they were supposed to hold it. Did they hold it? No. So the check bounced and the town of Milford was pissed and called up this VFW which sketched them out.
I'm really sorry to all bands. I tried getting in touch with as many as I could, but it was such a last minute cancellation that it really gave me no time. I found out at 3:00, and I was to be having bands show up at around 4:15. I'm really, really pissed off about the whole thing and some other things which I will share at a later date when I know what's going on.
