ripper didnt ruin anything. if anything, schaffer did... but they arent ruined. i like the new song. i like the remade "trilogy" more so than the original. i like ripper a little bit more than barlow. barlow made things a little TOO dramatic for the most part. hell... the glorious burden would have been the same whether it was barlow or ripper. i personally cant even imagine barlow singing hold at all costs, high water mark, or devil to pay. the Gettysburg "trilogy" is amazing. thats the thing i hate most about metal fans. if something changes a little bit, they get all pissy and throw a huge tantrum and claim that it sucks. get over it and just fucking listen to the music. artists evolve, its natural. they have how many albums out with barlow on it? didnt they all pretty much sound similar? i think it was about time for a change anyway. |

Heard this like a month or maybe even two ago. Not bad...honestly, I like the Something Wicked trilogy better with Ripper, aside from that one riff in the Prophecy. Tim Mills' solos are pretty badass. |
