Guitar player (ex-The Taste of Silver) looking to form new, original band, genre-unspecified. Influences for project include Dystopia, Lifetime, and Black Flag. Guitar player (me) has extensive touring and recording experience in various bands. I am located in Arlington but will be moving in the next few months a little closer to Boston for work. I have 14 years of experience on guitar and playing in bands. I am very much focused and driven.

=You=: 20-35 yo. Must have experience working with a band before, a good ear for music, and own your own rig / kit. Recording / touring experience preferred. Four string bassists only. No showboating, but be prepared to improvise. Must be prepared to tour extensively and dedicate a chunk of your time to practicing (two day a week commitment regardless of # of shows). Must be able to travel to practice and on tour, and gig on a regular basis (3 to 4 times a month around new england, and touring a few weeks every month). Assholes, heavy drinkers, and habitual drug users need not apply. Hobbyrockers or people looking "for fun" need not apply.

Yeah, I played guitar in KissyFace. The older recordings with Brian Viglione (Aka Optimus Prime) and Pepe Anselo (aka Optimus Prime) are much classier.

Just curious, why are you only taking 4 string bassists? All 5 strings give you are a few more options.
