Terrorizer was originally a short-lived band/project originated in Los Angeles, though two of the more well-known members came from the then-growing Florida scene. By the time their only album, World Downfall was released in 1989, the band had already broken up, with Jesse Pintado joining Napalm Death and Pete Sandoval moving on to Morbid Angel. Yet Downfall is highly regarded as an classic in the field of death/grind metal, proving to be an influence on the still-developing death metal scene at that time. Several years later, in 2005, Sandoval and Pintado decided to put a new version of the band together, and in the summer of 2006 their second album, Darker Days Ahead, was released. Sadly, almost coinciding with the release of the new album came news that Pintado had died while in Europe, placing the future of the band in grave doubt.
RIP: Jesse Pintado, August 27, 2006, of complications resulting from a diabetic coma.

Has to be one of, if not the best grind albums ever recorded. Not too metal, not too punky, tight performance, and sounds fucking killer! |
|
Terrorizer fucking kills. My favorite grind. |
|
Anyone who claims to listen to death metal or grind MUST own World Downfall. |
|
Long live TERRORIZER!!!!!!!!! |
|
Darker Days Ahead is a great album too. I love this band. |
|
I've fucking loved this CD since the week it came out!
I still have the damn longbox on my wall!

Still waiting on an apology for "Darker Days Ahead." That was the most horrendous slab of feces since Defecation's "comeback" album. |
|
Wrong.
"Crematorium" is one of the best songs ever. |
|
Guys guys guys...
Corporation Pull In.
Enough said, |

the beginning of Dead Shall Rise makes me want to eat bricks. I probably go over that part in my head for hours at a time during any given week. |
|
darker days ahead is definitely far from the most horrendous slab of feces. the problem is that it is more of a death metal album than it is a terrorizer-style grind album. still awesome, and what the hell are you going to expect from a band that didn't do anything together for more than 15 years?
anyone have the rehearsal cd "from the tomb?" i was lucky enough to find a copy of this, and even though the quality is fucking horrible (obviously), it's pretty awesome to hear. |

Bullshit. He died of AIDS and his fanbois are covering it up. Rip Jesse's ass, more like it. He was on the downlow and he got AIDS and it killed him. What a stupid way to go. Wear condoms when you have drunken any-way-it-goes sex at metal bars. Jesse died of AIDS. |
