I saw Michael Fights the Dragon at Artspace about two or three years ago.

I saw them on my birthday back in April. They put on a good show.


Also, before I forget, my guitarist and I met with I'm Thirsty and he informed us that we ARE NOT opening. I think Pregnancy Scare is. So, we will probably be playing second or third; right in the meat of the show. I'm pretty excited. After this show we will probably head into the studio with Sabatur Records to record a demo.

Emmure may be "from" Connecticut, but is not from Connecticut.

CT may not be perfect, but this state waives all responsibility for the survived-abortion chugchug assbaby that is Emmure.

I heard they can't even play CT for one reason or another.

wow i just noticed that the band armor for the broken are on emmure's old label this city is burning records although i'm not really a fan thats good for them.

Armor for the Broken are the ONLY Local band I have encountered that were rude, arrogant, and just all around not cool in any way or fashion. Seriously you’re all what 15 or 16? You Have brand new gear, You show up late to shows, don't watch any other bands, you pack up and leave right after playing, unless some bigger national band is playing and then it's like a teenage girl at a panic at the disco concert seeking attention. They need to get over themselves, your not THAT good you play an extremely watered down and accessible style of music that is more stagnant than an abandoned chemical toilet. I know I'm not alone in thinking this either.

It was alright. We had some pedal problems with my drummer but we got through every song. We played 5 songs; To Turn A Failing Destiny, Penance Subjected, World's Beloved, cover, and Can't Turn Back. I had a lot of people coming up to me after we played and telling us how great we were. It was only our third show so I didn't expect to be amazing but people dug it so it made me happy.

the scene kids in manchester were a bunch of assholes who thought they were wicked tough. i don't even think they were there for any bands, they just wanted to start shit.
