New site? Maybe some day.

did anyone watch this? i think it was on Discovery. it was famous directors and film makers discussing philosophical aspects of Star Wars, it was well done. a few parts were kind of boring, but overall it was cool. there werent any interviews with cast or crew, it was all outsiders like Peter Jackson, Kevin Smith and others. it gave me a new appreciation for the first 3 movies, if you look past the gayness. there was also a Star Wars technology show afterwards where it applied real science to Star Wars, but i fell asleep. |

I was debating on whether or not to tape this on my DVR when I saw a commercial for it. I said what the fuck and went for it. I started watching some of it last night. I'm not really a big star wars nerd. I did enjoy the movies though. This show was kind of interesting though. It's not really telling me anything I didn't know though. I had noticed those similarities when I saw the movies. I pretty much taped it because just last week I was watching the Matrix movies and realized that the matrix, star wars, spiderman, and lord of the rings are all pretty much the same movie. |

yeah it didnt really tell you anything new, but it did relate a lot of things to society that one might not have thought of. the best part was Kevin Smith talking about how awesome Jabba the Hut is. |
haha I don't think I got to that part yet. |
It's also weird that steven colbert is one of the people they interview. |
the Star Wars Tech was pretty interesting. It was mostly about how plasma is the future of technology. |
