I locked myself out of my house once in junior high. I ended up climbing a ladder up to my room's window, slicing open the screen just enough to raise the screen up, and then climbing in through the window. I slipped climbing in, the ladder fell, and I had to pull myself up like Stallone in Cliffhanger.

I'll take the credit card method over the hairpin method any day!
