haha I've done that. Lately I usually find the most inappropriate card I can find. I think I gave my sister a bar mitzvah card on her last birthday.

FYI... the "sorry for the loss of your mother" cards are usually not appreciated when you give them to your mother. I think that's where the line is.

as for the topic at hand, my sister and I got our mom a gift certificate to TGIF, simple but effective

yeah..i had a lovely anxiety attack...in front of my mom...i lost my dad too young and i'm scared to death of her dying...she was tired and i hadn't seen her since xmas...she was moving too slowly and i saw a liver spot on her face and i started crying like a moron..ugh

My parents will never die because that would be horrible. I'm leaving it at that. My parents are fucking awesome.

Since I've heard about and met many of my friend's moms over the years, I realize more and more how lucky I am. I never got along with them when I was younger but since I've been old enough to drink beer with them, it's been awesome. Now if I could just convince my Dad to smoke me up...

It's wierd because I have alot of respect for my father, even though hes the one that got into all the drugs and fucked everything up

He's the stereo typical workhorse dad that waits up at 5 AM without an alarm clock, works all day, can fix anything, and is the strongest dude in the world to me.
