I tried getting to my guitarist's house today and every available route to his house was blocked off. I saw part of the road actually sunk in and flooded and it's a huge mess. |

My sump pump is gay, you have to tap it every 2 or so hours to make sure it goes on. It either gets stuck without going on or gets stuck above the line and doesn't shut itself off burning it self out. Gay flotie-type sump pumps. |

Because the flotie pumps are gay. If you have one that is vertical and the sensor goes up and down - then you are golden. The flotie-type always get stuck on shit even if your sump hole is as deep/wide as could be. |

You got it backwards dude. The vertical type use a float. Most submersibles use a"sensor" or mercury switch, and yes they always fail. |
