Ive had many a band ruined by a Yoko.
HCN was prolly the only one that wasnt.

I remember when I had an old friend calling me pussy whipped and was pissed off at me. Ended up it had nothing to do with me. The old friend ended up being a gay.

It's pretty sad to watch.

Oh well.

Never had a yoko though. No band I've been in has really been a haven for chick fucking.

In one of my old bands my drummer had bought a truck for the sole reason of transporting gear to and from shows. We were booked to play a show in New Hampshire and naturally we all asumed that we'd be taking his truck plus another car load of people. His girlfriend started flipping out at practice telling him that he shouldn't put that many miles on his truck (women love that argument) when he just bought it.....

I waited until she was done and said to him, in front of her, "Why don't you just pretend you have a penis and take the goddamn truck." She was ready to suplex me, and I did feel a little bad because I didn't hate his girlfriend, she just had a bad habit of offering opinions no one was interested in. That was the end of that chapter though.

What I hate the most is guys who start seeing girls who pretty much refuse to let them hang out with other chicks. I've had a bunch of friendships ruined this way, the guys will go head over heels for a girl who gets jealous and doesn't allow him to spend any time with me whatsoever.

I've lost track of how many of my friends I've lost to boyfriends/girlfriends. They're all so fucking whipped. Haha, oh man. What is it with drummers and being pussy whipped. My drummer has literally been impossible to reach for the past 4 months. I had to chase him down for 2 months to get track him down and record the new Powerglove cd, and just had to cancel a shitload of shows because he plans on going to Switzerland with her for a month. That's fine, but it's right after we release our new cd!
The other day he was freaking out because he was supposed to hang out with her and he was 10 minutes late. What the fuck? People in Powerglove aren't supposed to get laid!

Seriously, people these days are fucked. As much as a cynical, jaded bastard as I am, it still amazes me sometimes how fucking weak people are to let someone manipulate and control them in a bullshit version of what they call "love". The lengths of which people repeatedly get shit on and crawl back for more. The empty misery they endure for the sake of someone else who lives by a selfish, pervered sort of caring where they love you by treating you like a plaything. And best of all, the slow downward spiral of a person becoming a weak, spineless pathetic shell of their former self for the equivalent of someone tossing them pocket change and telling them it's a fortune in gold.

Anytime I've gotten the familar feeling of getting lied to and shit on, I only give second chances if I believe someone REALLY deserves it and can redem themselves. Otherwise, it's a huge "fuck you" and I burn you in return. If anything, I've actually shocked some girls by how little I play by their rules and how hard I'll come down on them when they try to play mind games.

If I ever actually find a woman that fits with me, is worth the effort and is a good person inside and out, I'll treat her like a queen and not regret it. Until then, fuck 'em because I don't have time to bang my head against a wall that isn't going to move. I'd rather walk around it and never look back.
