"Cavallaro, who was raised in Canada and Italy, is best known for his quirky work with food as art: Past efforts include repainting a Manhattan hotel room in melted mozzarella, spraying 5 tons of pepper jack cheese on a Wyoming home and festooning a four-poster bed with 312 pounds of processed ham."

This guy rules!

hahaha they have no problem with chocolate eggs and the Easter Bunny, but a chocolate representation of their lord sends them into a frenzy.

"The artwork was created from more than 200 pounds of milk chocolate, and it features Christ with his arms outstretched. The Cavallaro creation does not include a loincloth."

Hawt! I'm just disappointed there were no pictures. But then, I guess the angry Catholics would have to be mad at MSNBC as well.

i also dont get why a metal or wood representation of Jesus is acceptable, but a chocolate one isnt? chocolate is delicious, so you'd think that it would have a positive effect. i could understand if it was made out of lima beans or something, but chocolate is so trustworthy.

And then, just like in that great nursery rhyme known as the New Testament, a man dressed like Roman soldier pierces his side with a spear to check if he's dead. Then the cadbury filling comes out. I'd fucking deck people in the face to drink cadbuh-christ.

Delicious.
