once again the 4 dicks from Brooklyn come through with shining colors. or in their case, bleak colors. this album fucking RULES. there is way more classic hard rock influence, specifically Black Sabbath, with tons of Beatles thrown in. i told myself they wouldnt let us down, and while i believed it, i was still weary because some bands just release garbage in their later years, but not them. seriously, this is so fucking good. so many catchy songs, lots of hints of earlier albums, mainly Slow, Deep and Hard. its remarkably different than previous work, keeping in tune with the trend they laid out. an absolute 10.

i haven't completely finished listening to the album.. but so far i agree whole-heartedly. its been hard deciding which album to listen to between the new Jesu and this so i just keep flipping back and forth.

Gonna have to pick that one up... and I can't wait to see 'em again! Think I'm going to the Lupo's show so I can see 1349 as well.

Dead Again is pretty badass, I got that old type o vibe from the first moment i put it in, life is killing me was good, but it took a few listens to fully appreciate.

i still think some of the vocals could have been recorded better, but the songs are still awesome.

i think this album will be SO much better live
