hey mang sorry i haven't gotten back to you. but i' still way interested in starting something up, and so i s that guitarist i was talkin about. ideally, what kind of sound are you looking to create if you start up in a new band?

At this point, I'm pretty open sound-wise.

What direction are you guys thinking?

honestly, we're looking for something genreless, something fresh. what i can tell you is that we've both listened to death metal for forever, both way into technical stuff along the lines of necrophagist, psycroptic, spawn of posession, and so on. but i also think he is a bit bored with straight death metal, and im certain i am.

i know i'm definitely looking to do something more experimental and crazy...some stuff i've been jocking pretty hard lately would be:

biolich, virulence, psyopus, gojira, beneath the massacre, the sawtooth grin, forever is forgotten, CLOACAL KISS, enslaved, anata, genghis tron, creation is crucifixion, saprogenic, the red chord, year of desolation.

so, uh, yeah. a violent, intense amalgamate of the afformentioned bands n stuff. or something. in my brain im basically envisioning way sick metal thatll have ambulances at every show and RISD art chicks standing in a puddle of their own juices.

yeah unfortunately i dont have a space, the last one i was in still belongs to feed us fetus, or members thereof. but if we can use your basement, that just means mo' flo' in our pockets, which is never a bad thing.
