dentists have been nagging me for years about having my wisdom teeth taken outn despite the fact that none of them have grown in or given me any discomfort at all. obviously there are a select few that need to have them extracted, but i really think this whole procedure is a huge scam that dentists have been cashing in on for decades. i really don't think its necessary.

somewhere a dentist is twirling his handlebar mustache and sleeping on a pile of money.

Mine had to be taken out, they fuckin hurt like a bastard. Maybe he said that because they stick out a little and cut his pecker while ur sucking him off.

could it be because there isn't enough room in your mouth?
that's what happened to me...it's caused my teeth to shift and now they are little crooked =(

i still need to get mine removed btw

It didn't even hurt, I got it done at 10am and I was talking normal when I woke up eventually at 4pm. Same with my teeth they were starting to move them and hurt.

my wisdom teeth hurt a little as they were coming in but then i just pushed them through my gums and now they dont give me any problem at all.

oral surgeons definately bank on wisdom teeth. I'm betting it's their major source of income.

I got hit in the face and both of my wisdom teeth broke into pieces and my jaw was fractured.

I didn't have insurence for like 3 years after, so I was kicking and screaming like a nigga when they finally took out the broken pieces of teeth.

Fuck Wisdom Teeth.

yea i got all 4 out and all but one had yet to emerge... my theory is that novicaine is better than getting put out. i think it makes it so your muscles dont contract ass much and you dont swell as much after... I ended up going out the same night.

oh man novacain was a fucking miricle when i busted my lip up on ice sledding a couple years ago. 37 stitches right in my top lip and i couldnt feel a fucking thing because of the novacain. its still a little weird having a mirror right in front of you and looking at your lip look like ground meat and thinking "this should really be hurting a lot."

mine are fully in...no pain at all though

They take out wisdom teeth to weaken you, only if you have wisdom teeth in can you obtain godhood!!!

Some Irish folk hero used to touch his wisdom tooth, with his thumb, to see the future

Mine ruined my nice straight post-braces teeth. I begged to get them out just to avoid this but my orthodontist INSISTED I didn't know what I was talking about.

Mine are fully in though and don't hurt or anything. I think they're just really prone to cavities because they're so far back in your mouth you might not get them brushed as well. AND they get money out of you and take your super powers away. Obviously.

My dentist is telling me to get them taken out now. 3 of them came in and are fine. 1 of them, however, is growing sideways under the gumline and could potentially start pushing on the other teeth.

the only thing that sucked about novicaine was a needle in the roof of your mouth.... and then cold gooey injection

It's true, they said mine would never grow in, now they keep telling me they need to come out even though they cause no problem.

try having it stuck in the inside of your eyelid.

yep, when you're getting a stye removed. i had my lids clamped open a la Alexander DeLarge style, and the doc says "don't move. seriously, don't move." then he sticks the needle in my lower inside eyelid. the worst part is that he was wearing these magnification goggles, which i could see the reflection of what he was doing. as i said, my eye was clamped open, so i had to watch the entire thing. needle, scalpel, etc...

I never had wisdom teeth.

one of my wisdom teeth is actually lying on its side, aimed so that if it starts moving it will destroy the roots of everything on my lower right jaw. it's been sitting there not moving for ten years, and my dentist's still bugging me to get it removed. no thanks; I've already had one tooth out where they had to go into the bone to remove it, and I'm not up for a second time.
