I just had back surgery so I am layed up for awhile. My kids are always rocking out on the Xbox. Now it is my turn. What are some good games to get? I just got Call of duty 3 which is fun, and Madden 07' which I have not checked out. I am into war games, 1st person shooter and horror games as well. Any suggestions for me as I am going to be stuck inside for a LOOONNNGGG TIME? Rattle off some good ones so I can send my brother out to get a few for me. Thanks RTTP folks!!!

1st person shooters: halo 2, half life 2.

get an xbox live account and halo 2 will last you forever.


as far as war games, you got the good one haha. i dont think the xbox really had any horror games, those were more on the ps2.

Resident evil 4 (I'm not 100% sure it was on xbox, but I think it was) Is an absolutely badass game. You get to kill priests in corpse paint.

It's not related to the other games, so you don't haveto have played the others to know what's going on.


Also, the grand theft auto series (vice city and san andreas) can provide hours upon hours of fun.


There's always halo 2. after a half hour playing, anyone comes to love that game.


and there's the fight night series. They are increadibly fun on PS2, but I'm not sure how the controlls work out on xbox because for ps2 you use the dual joysticks.

No, gears of war is x-box 360. Fight night kills on xbox that might be my favorite game on the regular x box. The 360 version is awesome too. Advent rising is my favorite game for xbox. It has a really good story and you can play through it twice because in the beginning you have to choose to save 1 of 2 people. It has alot bugs in it though but that didnt kill the game for me

If you like horror and first person shooters get Doom 3. That's if you don't have it for the PC. I love that game.

too bad you ain't got a ps2, the Socom U.S. Navy SEALs series are the best war games ever made.

The only horror game for the xbox I know of is Call of Cthulhu and it's pretty good, but I remember it being hard. I don't have an xbox though so I only played it with friends and have no idea if it starts to suck or is impossible.
