Thats probably the biggest collaboration of awful bands i've ever seen... I do wish I could go just for RATM though.

I dont remember which of the side stage acts I saw, but I think it was royal trux, mecrury rev, g vs b, and that's it. I wish I saw unrest though.. i think I have their whole catalog.

Tool was on the Main stage. They played right after Rage. Babes in Toyland was on the second stage. I think I still have the T-shirt somewhere with all the bands on the back.

that sounds familiar... i think I rushed in as RATM was playing. hard to remember.

the next year, 1994 ruled because I watch the bordems play on both stages. it's basically the only thing I remember from lolla was watching both of their sets. yamataska-i rules and swallowed his mic. L7 came in all wasted later on in the day and played 1 or 2 songs. it was probably it's lame to be dead.

The only other year I went was 1995. It was the year Sonic Youth and Hole played. I think it was 95.

yeah, that was 95. I almost went that year, but I hated hole at that point

Hole was alright. I was more into Sonic Youth then. Who were amazing.

Jesus and Mary Chain reunion! How does that not trump Interpol? Faithless playing again, Cornelius in what is probably going to be the only US appearance, VNV Nation confusing the hipsters, fucking Crowded House reunion(!), Konono No. 1 playing a big outdoor venue, and Jarvis Cocker are reasons enough to go by themselves. You don;t have to see the rest of the crap. If I had the cash I would be there in a heartbeat!

yeah i'm pumped about getting a photo pass..even the flight is only around $200 but the hotel is what kills...and i'm not camping with all the $$$$ equipment I'll have on me. If only aaron wasn't a pussy and would fly with me then he could hang out with his best friend while i shoot the show...and then we'd stay a few more days and see friends and chill...
