if you can still find them, they will be on closeout, BUT ESP released standard models in it's place that are identicle to the sigs before, they just don't have the gay 8 ball inlay:

and they cont have the dave mustaine sig duncans in them anymore.

deans putting out a couple of new sigs this year, this along with a rusty cooley sig 7 string.

i'm not really a fan of the slashes and the dots on the deans..... i'm sure it plays well though

Mustaine is such an endorsement whore. Andy Sneap has said flat out that he reamped the new record using a JSX, not Mustaine's new Line 6... Show "Mask" the money and he'll play anything.

Tracii guns has been known to violate endorsement contracts and sign with other companies just for free guitars. He's done this to MCS, Carvin, and Dillion.

I wouldn't be suprized to see ESP try and bother them about the V shape. That won't hold up though.


The ESP/mustaine relationship turned sour because Mustaine can't sell any fucking guitars with his name on them.

that's so bogus, it's not even a dean headstock. bogus, and mustaine's ego is way too big.

That's also the headstock on the new Rusty Cooley sig. Oh, and I'm betting the DV8R was one of the higher-selling sigs of all the LTDs. Certainly sold more than say, the Truckster, or the Atreyu sigs.

Also, his Axxion model did not sell like at all. Shane B, who is the only ESP dealer in all of Australia/New Zealand/ all of the pacific islands has not sold a single one. those things are bogus.
