This show will happen IF Rox's is open next weekend. I'll keep everyone posted on how that goes.

The defiant part of me wants to prove to Rox's that at least some of these bands will be doing more than playing a "rinky dinky cover set for your 7 biggest fans and your girlfriends". I know that a lot of people are ready to give a big "fuck you" to Rox's for that rather condescending statement (among other things), but it would be nice if that didn't also turn out to be a big "fuck you" to the bands that might end up playing to no one other than their "7 biggest fans and... girlfriends"... especially the bands that have to drive through Boston's rush hour traffic just to be there.

I haven't heard anything definite from Rox's, but it looks like there is a good chance they will be open this weekend. Their headline on myspace is now: "Required Paperwork is being signed....we should be good to go!!!"

They added this flyer to their myspace page. This flyer makes me want to make a better flyer myself. LOL!

I made my own flyer. This is the first flyer I've ever made, so it's nothing spectacular, but I think it looks better than the one from Rox's. If the brightness/contrast are off, it's because my monitor is a piece of junk.

Body: Sorry to have MORE bad news. This will be the 3rd birthday party that got cancelled because of the town of Oxford. We will have more details later today....



We are unable to open Rox's this weekend.

The building inspector is going on vacation. He is supposed to be back by Tuesday. We have all the building permits needed. We are ready for repairs but cannot do so at this time.

Please help support Rox's and call these numbers for the Oxford Town Hall to state your opinions....be prepared, they may come up with excuses.
