as douchey as all that was...it was them bringing the Fire dept/city inspectors to our front door that seriously almost brought down the house...we have been bringing bands to Redrum from all over the world since 98" and have had only ONE incident with the PVD police(due to a
friggin car blocking a factory worker in of all things) the whole time...and its because the people involved with Redrum are all "old school" guys who have been involved in the music scene here for DECADES and know what the fuck is up and how to stay under the radar...within a few monthes those guys blew up the spot with visits by the cops,fire dept,the landlord, fights, people trashing the place,blatant grafitti,a website telling EVERYONE what was going on and of course bringing the authorities INTO our space. THATS why they got shut down. We are taking a break...but we WILL be back with more METAL, HARDCORE,PUNK and INDUSTRIAL...stay tuned.
