Anal Cunt - First time I've ever seen them. Fat Bastard stood on stage the whole time waiting for something to go wrong, which promptly happened before they began because they never mic'd the floor tom, so there goes fuckin 10 minutes. They sounded pretty good. It was cool to see Phil with Seth singing, whoa did they just hail hitler ? Seth out screamed Phil.

Devil Driver - The low spot of the night. The music was to blah for me but the pit was actually pretty fun to watch.

Morbid Angel - Fucking Awesome set! Nice stretch of material, I've been waiting to hear Where the Slime Live for awhile, plus World of Shit might have been there best song in IMO. God of Emptiness was cool which flowed right into Enshrined By Grace. Steve Tucker carries the band more now with Rutan out, it was good to that bastard up there, Morbid Angel is so fuckin honorable.

Superjoint Ritual - People flipped for these dudes when they were lowering down their banner, but me and Orge from Maggot Feast were ready to walk out then. We stuck around for about 5 songs and walked out cause Phil called Superjoint the new Kings of metal or some shit like that, then everyone was chanting USA which was weird. I think out of all his other 9 bands he's in, this shit is his most grind influenced. I'm not really a fan of it, but it's kind of interesting to listen to and watch. I have to say that the pit opened up pretty good by this point, and with the amount of beer on the floor as well in dem tough guys livahs, there was alot big bangs and shit. Actually this was the best pit I've ever watched, I'm still a head banger.

The bouncers were like vultures tonight too. I saw at least a half dozen kids get booted for smokin, which pissed off alot of cause Superjoint is all about the natural enlightment of dope. But there were a ton of people who got booted for underage drinking and there were a few people who were carried out due to broken legs, head bumps, bloody eyes. I don't know, I left the parking lot listening to Wolf's Lair Abyss, I hear the quote "Militant men in peaceful times attack themselves" over and over, kinda serving as a testament to nature of this show/venue. Yes I'm going to Type O and Cradle .

morbid angel: guitars could have been a little louder. the sound was a lot better at lupos.

superjoint ritual: stuck around for a few songs, erhm, i mean 10 minutes of phil saying 'fuckin true fuckin heavy fuckin fuckin mothafuckin american fuckin' he talks a little too much.

outside in line, I got to hear some great stories about how these kids were going to create the "best band ever" calling it cradle of ruth.

anal cunt: I thought I was going to miss them cause I hear seth yelling things over the PA. Thankfully, I got down there in time to see AC start up. Their set paled to compare to the two other shows I've seen (Elvis room - 2 1/2 hrs & upstairs middle east - 1+ hrs). I kept finding my self saying "who?" when I looked at the guitar player and drummer... but what does it matter, it's Anal Cunt. 2 or 3 times phil anselmos (ex-pantera singer, current SJR sucker) came out and sang along with seth. It was awesome when seth was swinging around the mic and it flew off into the crowd.

devil driver: anyone who knows me knows that I don't like nu-metal. they were pretty bad... I mean.. it seems like they were just there to be ex-coal chamber.

morbid angel: it's awesome to see them. I love my copies of altars and blessed and all of them down to gateway, but I was hoping for them to bust out chapel of ghouls. My only complaint is really that the drums where soooooo over triggered. trey was rocking out, but how old is that guy? their set was pretty awesome and they were the reason I went.

super joint ritual: ok.. let me transcribe what I heard phil say... something like "this mother fucking fuck is.. this is the mother fucking, fuck and we've been fucking around since mother fucking 19.. MOTHER FUCK. and you are about to get the mother fucking real deal now." The crowd was all about SJR... it was pretty odd. I think that they would have slit their wrists if phill asked for them too. Tons of people jumping up on stage and rocking out for the SJR.

during one of the sets, a guy drapped in coats was carried out by 4 bouncers, not moving at all. I'm guessing he's the one that got his leg broke.

But they did play Rapture and Where The Slime Live which was great. And I think they ended with the worst song possible, I like their new album but I think that's the worst song on their cd.
