A complete mission is an Iraq that can govern itself sufficiently and handle violence on its own. Completing the mission does not include an end to the violence. It's just whether or not the Iraqis can handle it well.

funny, and here I thouht there was a new "mission" every month...
seems to me that they have changed the "end goal" like 5 times and the newest one was to get the government to be able to handle itself enough for us to run.

it's like we started after the golden metal and then decided than honorable mention was ok. looks like a dishonorable mention is coming our way soon.
