Not that I don't like all the opening bands, But seriously, Mark's needs to book some different ones once in a while, same bands open ever show, with the exception of a few here and there. He is gonna burn them out, Just like Serge did at the shelter, that is one of the reasons people did not go to the show often, cuz the same bands always opened the nationals.
The last thing anyone should ever do is put Buckhunter in an establishment featuring alcohol and bare breasts... this is going to rule so many levels its unimagineable.
Its not what u would expect....the boobies are quarantined, in a totally seperate facility.
You cannot hear the rock music AND see the boobies at once.
I'm pretty sure it starts at 6pm. I wouldnt be suprised if they used the two-stage setup for this. It worked pretty good last time. It shifts attention from the main stage and reduces setup/breakdown time.
why so many bands? my guess: more bands = more people through the door. I'm pretty sure the majority of the bands didnt have to sell tickets either, so promoters relying on good promotion by the bands and bring people with them. I asked for tickets so our fans/friends wouldnt have to pay the extra $5 at the door.

Yea their security sucks ass!!! When i was loading in my equipment they stopped me tell me to tuck in my wallet chain because it was to long!!! lol....and then they wouldnt take my guitarists i d ! THey said they couldnt take his kind of ID....its a fucking a mass issued id!!! How stupid can they get?
I suppose I will just get there around 7, If I miss anyone good, oh well fuck it.Since there is always mass confusion on door and set times at these cluster fuck shows

Doors are at 6pm... like always at Marks... 18+ Music starts at 615...im hearing buckhunter has been bumped up because of full blown chaos... they are playing after 7
Unfortunatley, I had to refund a little over 100 tickets due to short notice venue change (different market). Then a snow storm happened the night before the show and I only had 50 kids. The worst ever! I hope Mark's was a better turnout. Feedback?

Buckhunter was probably my favorite of the night. Those crazy fuckers. FBC did a great job to close the night out, a few people stuck around. I still can't believe HCN couldnt make it.

BUCKHUNTER!!!, Man those guys are awesome. I liked the 2nd stage, more interactive with the crowd and I thought it sounded better, Buckhunter's sound was massive. I liked FBC, they were really energetic and had the crowd or lack there of moving the whole time. They remebered Anderson and I from the bombshelter, which was cool. people were actually jumping over me to get to the mic and sing along during FBC, it was crazy.
HEY, you shut up and come down here into society and come hang out with us sometime.

He was fucking cocked...He came with like $80, and barely had enough to buy some food @ Dunk's afterward, of course at $5 a beer, that really isn't that much, but all his buddies from Lowell where there too. definitely missed HCN, but its all good, ill catch you guys again soon, rough spot, i get it. i got sick like halfway through the show and left around FBC, but they're decent, ive seen them a few times in this area, always a good time, and NSN is a different band since the bombshelter days, i mean shit, their beer intake has to have gone up by at least 50% ;-) but you know, good to see everyone, blah blah, til next time.
how did you all feel about the ping pong situation with the bands? i've never seen that at Marks, i figured they'd have some people with the girls again...
