habitual offendaz: I thought I was going to get to heqr them before anyone (before the 11/18 show atleast), but then mcmahan showed up. I was very confused by their set. Some of it was really really really slow nu-metaly stuff. I think some of the stuff was similar to the perfect circle when I saw them. This band was a lot more tuff sounding. But then they would break into something that sounded like typo negative. Since the drumming and everything was slow, off timed mistakes were easier to hear. I think if the guitars were louder, it would have been better. That would have filled it in a lot better. also, the drummer should watch a conifir, ogre, or ocean video so he can learn how to play slow, but still punchy and with more passion. It sort of looked like he way sighing in between snare hits. it's easier for people to play fast and make it tight. playing slowly is the true challenge. the rest of the band didn't really move either. I would guess the 2 guitarists don't have much stage experience.

by deaths creation: I was expecting something awesome when I saw/heard the drummer. He had a really nice TAMA drum set. I thought I was going to have my face musically removed by a band that I've never heard of before. The reality was a little less than that. I was impressed, but they were sort of a cross between "cemetary gates" and meshuggah's nothing CD. They were a little too straight forward to really be like meshuggah, but there were a lot of elements from that. (none of the start/stop meshuggah change ups) I think that if they had a guitarist to do rhythm and another for leads, they would have more to work with. The guitarist played hard, but I think the 2nd guitarist would free him to do other stuff. They were really tight, but I have a feeling they are going to have hardcore/metal catagories on their myspace. There were also multiple sic6sic push pits during their set.
