The title track of Hung Out To Dry, the new EP by Southern California rock quartet FU MANCHU, has been posted on the band's MySpace page, www.myspace.com/fumanchu

"'Hung Out To Dry' is one of our new favorites to play live," says guitarist/vocalist Scott Hill. "We've played it live a few times and it seems to be going over well. We usually keep our songs short and to the point, but this one we wanted to extend a little because we really liked playing the riff."

The Hung Out EP will be released on Nov. 28 in a unique dual format nicknamed "The Deuce," in which a 7" vinyl single and a four-track compact disc will be packaged together in a gatefold seven-inch sleeve. The 3,000-copy, limited-edition release can be pre-ordered for $6 at CMDistro.com.

"Hung Out To Dry" and another EP track, "Between The Lines," will both appear on the band's forthcoming tenth studio album. Two others - an original song titled "Never Again," and a cover of Van Halen's "D.O.A." - are exclusive to the EP.

Co-produced by the band members themselves, the Hung Out EP was recorded at Hollywood's Grandmaster Recorders (Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Black Crowes), while finishing touches were added at Oasis Mastering by Gene Grimaldi (Velvet Revolver, Pennywise, Rev. Horton Heat).

FU MANCHU performs Thursday (Nov. 16) at the Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa, Calif., the group's first concert in nearly a year. An "EP release show" will take place at the Viper Room in Hollywood on Dec. 1.
