It's been a while since I've actually heard something that basically made me shit myself when hearing it. I downloaded "Winds of Plague" not too long ago and I thought it was great but these cds come few and far between for me. Anyone got any suggestions. I'm not picky.

I'm pretty diverse actually. You name the style and I can probably name atleast one band of that genre that I like so lay it on me.

Check out the Abominable Iron Sloth. blew me away when I first heard it. They remind me of the Acacia Strain only not half assed.

Face to Face - Ignorance is Bliss
The Partisan Turbine (slammy DM from LI)

ya there is this cool comic in the inner jacket of the CD that explains what the creature is supposed to be why it needs to eat every person that gets in its way.

I have both "Gift" and "Welcome". "Gift" I thought was a pretty good album and every once in a while I'll throw it in. "Welcome" however was mediocre and the lead singer I swear to god must've said "Myself" like 95,000 times on that cd just like the new Bleeding Through where every other word is "die, dying, dead, & death". Over using a certin word on songs I find to be very annoying.

When does the new Pyrexia come out?

toggletoggle post by DrinkHardThrashHard  at Nov 2,2006 1:06pm
Try any of about 300-400 good to great new metal records this year. Motorhead, Vader, Amon Amarth, Martyr, Summoning, Anata, Drudkh, Carpathian Forest, Enslaved, Melechesh, etc etc etc ad infinitas.

toggletoggle post by MarkFuckingRichards  at Nov 2,2006 1:17pm
anata all the fucking way. if you like strange, technical, melodic yet well orchestrated metal, you will love anata. the new album is called "the conductor's departure."

Craft - Fuck the Universe

an amazing album all around. the singer has a killer voice.
