New site? Maybe some day.
word for word: wow, the singer from the limit finally gets a new band. Sounded similar to what I remember (from 4 years ago minus 2 days). They didn't have too many people in there, but a couple people knew some lyrics. Their set ended with a fight. Lame.
now soldiers: on tour with palehorse and suffocate faster. They are a long way away from their home turf of florida. When I ran up there was about 5 people in the room. This increased x3 during their set and in the end they asked about what cover song to do. The options were black flag, strife, and some other band. Strife won and people danced for that. |
you didn't even mark it as a show..tsk tsk
amateur |
can't from text.. or can i.. I forget |
in remembrance: really tight set. Couldn't hear the vocals at all. Granted, I was behind the "stage" so I figured that was the reason. No one really moved for them. They are leaving on tour with palehorse/now soldier.
Right now, I think palehorse and db4d are mia. Hammer bros are going on early cause of it. hm.. I'm outside and so is most of hammer bros... but I hear sound checking inside. hm.. I wonder what's up in there. going to investigate. |
well, hammer bros was waiting for a guitarist so they had geisel on drums, the singer playing guitar/singing and the drummer on bass. They played a bunch of 1/2 cover songs after 2 nirvanna songs. It was interesting to say the least.
hammer bros: they played a longer set that the other bands. This was their "vinyl release" show. unfortunately they didn't mention the vinyl at all. This was the first time at this show that the people actually moved in the crowd. It took them long enough. I hope this continues with the next two bands. |
I was just going to post that palehorse wasn't making it, but they just rolled in. As in like 2 minutes ago. they will be on after DB4D.
suffocate faster: these were the guys that I came to the show to see. Never seen them befor and I was not let down. They sounded sort of like DB4D, but different enough. I need to get some of their material for my show. They were very loud. People moved around for them too. Not the same as with hammer bros, but still good. |

I never had the chance to see The Limit and heard nothing but good things...I mean we're talking about a legend here so it had to have been righteous!! |
