Hey, my name's Lee and I play in a band called Grievingthedaystocome from Seattle. We are a metal core band along the lines of Burnt by the Sun or The Red Chord and we have our debut Cd coming out on Tribunal Records on August 20th. We are planning on doing a full US tour starting August 25th and running until September 26th. We really need help in the Northeast (New England, New York, Maryland, etc.) I know that this is kind of last minute but we've been working really hard at trying to book this ourselves and have gotten little help in the north east which is kind of understandable in that we're still relatively unknown. We are going to be up in the north east area between the dates of September 10th and September 16th. ANYTHING between these two dates would be tremendously appreciated. We are going on tour with another Seattle band called Carmenzito (they sound kind of like Botch or Deadguy with blast beats) which makes it a little more difficult I imagine but both of us have really short sets and would be willing to play for free (just for the chance to play the east coast and to sell some merch). Like I said, it doesn't matter what it is (house show, jumping on an existing bill, etc.) we just want to play so that next time we come through it won't be so much of a risk for promoters booking our band. Any help would be awesome. If you can help or know someone who can help just let me know what I need to do or send you and I will next day air it to you just E-mail me at neighborofthebeast@hotmail.com Thank you for your time.
Lee GTDTC

P.S. There is very few actual "venues" in my immidiate area (portsmouth, NH, and Boston MA) that host hardcore shows. Try getting in touch with club Exit 23 (http://www.clubexit23.com) they seem to be the local heros at the moment. might have some luck there.
good luck mates
