The left output started to go on me a while ago, I just turned it on once and didn't get any sound, jiggled the cable a little and it came on.
As the weeks went by it started to take more and more jiggling to get the left speaker output to work until one day it just stopped.
At your work do you guys geta lot of returns on these? I'd like to know if this is a typical problem and how much it might cost me to repair.

yeah, thats behringer for you.
but on the bright side, it should be a very inexpensive repair. either a loose soldering job or needs a new jack. i dont see it running you more than 40ish bucks.

I can solder and replace jacks and all that, but these have speakon outputs ( I should have mentioned that) and there are no cold solder points and nothing looks burnt out... it's just a friggin mystery to me.
I brought it to the Guitar Center in Natick and the dude who worked there (Alan) told me I'd be better off taking it somewhere else because guitar center ships them out and it takes a long time.
I think I might just buy a pmx1000 and sell the broken 3000 to help cover costs.

eeehhh, speakons might make it a bit more. youd be taking quite a hit selling it as is, id try getting it repaired personally.
