if i spent over 200 million dollars on a losing baseball team i'd be upset too. And as good of a coach i think Joe Torre is, I don't think it's a bad idea to get rid of him and try to mix things up a bit.
What Steinbrenner fails to realize is that no amount of money creates team chemistry or a desire to win.
