Just got this press release:

FEAR FACTORY CRUSHES THE U.S.

The MACHINES AT WAR Tour

With guests: Suffocation, Hypocrisy and Decapitated

HOLLYWOOD (August 14, 2006) - FEAR FACTORY Headline The Deadliest Tour Of The Year. FEAR FACTORY defy musical borders, break conventional arrangement, and influence metal bands worldwide. Now FEAR FACTORY are armed with another successful album, equipped to blast the tour doors open with a brutally metal militia in tow.

Headling the MACHINES AT WAR North American tour, FEAR FACTORY wage war from the West, preparing to leave the powerless in their bloody wake. Rivals in the East, bring the menacing SUFFOCATION to the helm while HYPOCRISY battle to the death with Viking valor and DECAPITATED gather their mercenaries to prove the unholiness of Poland. All corners of the nation will find themselves compelled to witness the massacre of the MACHINES AT WAR and engage in the armed conflict of metal!

Say’s FEAR FACTORY drummer, Raymond Herrera, “I’m really excited about doing a heavy tour like this. A brutal line-up full of metal pioneers has been a long time coming. I guarantee a lot of our fans will agree. Plus you’ll be certain to hear some FEAR FACTORY songs that have not been played live in quite some time.”

FEAR FACTORY have often been referred to as forefathers of metal with soaring, anthemic choruses, a vast, loyal fan following and a long consistent history of successful releases. The most recent album Transgression, unleashed by Calvin Records on August 23rd, 2005, proved FEAR FACTORY deserve the respect they have always received.

Also on the FEAR FACTORY front, producer Christian Olde Wolbers, and Mnemic have commenced recording at Track Record Studios in Los Angeles for the Danish band's yet-to-be-titled third album. This will be Olde Wolbers' second production project, recently he manned the helm for the upcoming debut from Threat Signal (Under Reprisal due out August 22nd) and he will also be producing the upcoming Bleed The Sky record in late 2006.

Queer Factory dont belong on this bill. But whatever.. Im not gonna go just to see Suffocation play for a whole 20 minutes. Not the worth 45-50 minute ride. But its cool that Suffocation are touring again. They KILLED back in July at Marks Showplace.

burton c bell does the best clean vocals i've ever heard apart from atrocity and rammstein. Today's metalcore vocalists try to do the burton c bell vocal style and fail at it. This is why i h8 it dies today, kse, as i lay dying, and bleeding through.

you underestimate how many people do care about Fear Factory. Not saying I do...but there will be more people there for them than any of the other bands. Guaranteed.

yea but they're all gay

I guess Numetal didn't work out too well for Fear Factory so there gonna pretend they're a death metal band again. LoL

he doesn't mean that they were pretending before....though I can see why you might assume that.

Don't mind sphincter he's an idiot and probably a fake poster.

I don't think FF fits the bill at all. Although I prolly won't go, I would stick around for fear factory just to see what songs they'd play that they haven't played in a while. Cuz I'm that guy.
