I don't know if counts as a 'breakdown' but the slow intro to The Promise of Agony by Dark Angel is one of the heaviest, most evil riffs ever.

i love slow evil riffs. Type O Negative does alot of them on Slow Deep and Hard, especially "Prelude to Agony"

Its all about Parkway Drive breakdowns and fucking Winter Solstice breakdowns fuck all this slayer bullshit, I agree Bury Your Dead does have some hot breakdowns too.

I like "Creating Something Out Of Nothing, Only To Destroy It" by Norma Jean. That breakdown I swear is like 2 minutes longs of "Like bringing a knife to a gun fight". The day they finally decide to stop being gay and play that live is the day I literally kill everyone on the floor.
