I saw the flyer for this last night at Marks. It said the show is at 4 p.m. Isn't that a little early for a Monday? How many local opening acts are gonna be on this show? I'd be pretty pissed if I paid to be on this show and I was playing at 4 o'clock to nobody because it's a weekday.

Bands that do pay to play are suckers and get exactly what they deserve.

about fronting Bernie money! man if a band play's in front of 500 people they can sell there merch and make money! plus you get to play with kick ass nationals! it also benifits YOUR band because your infront of an audience that might not have heard of you otherwise! wich in turn you can earn money and adventually quit your day job. this is what separates Nationals from the Locals. Music is ART but if you want to do anything with it its also a Business!

My band already did one of the shows at marks a few months ago and Im still hurtin from lettin go all that money. We didnt have any merch yet, nor anybody else in the band willing to do anything as far as promoting the show or make sure we even did play the show aside from myself. I have a much more positive outlook though on us doing shows like that though since I have gotten a few more people in the line up that are on the same page as me as far as doing shit like that is concerned. Hopefully we will do this show.

I think every band on this board has had an anonymous poster talk shit about them at one point or another. It's silly to worry about it. I have more respect for someone like Vomit the Soul (even though I bust his balls every chance I get) for at least saying he thinks a band sucks if he doesn't like them. His taste in music still sucks though.

next time you try and bash a band that are successors to the Throne just remember your a pussy and you'll never acheive they're status.

I like Zircon and hate minorities.
