Arkansas’ RWAKE have begun work on their as-yet-untitled Relapse debut.

RWAKE (Gravy – guitar, Jeff – drums, C.T. – vocals, Reid – Bass, B. – moog / samples / vocals, Kiffin – guitar) will record with Sanford Parker at Electrical Audio (HIGH ON FIRE, NEUROSIS, PELICAN, ZAO) and Parker’s own Volume Studios (PLANES MISTAKEN FOR STARS, UNEARTHLY TRANCE) in early October. This album, the band’s third overall, is expected to see an early 2007 release. Early song titles include "The Lure of Light", "The Finality", "Fire and Flight" and "The Cosmos Inverted".
