it's awesome that zack (who all the nh kids know) inherited this place. He's the new sound guy here.

picnic casket: a dude with a guitar, an iPod, and 2 little amps. he played power metal sounding like powerglove. Those epic video game metal songs. He covered the theme to buffy, but I never watched that show so I didn't know it. He ended with theme to megaman 2. I know the megaman theme so this was the only song I knew.

completely santorum.

if in life, the: I had to watch my elbows during their set. The kids there to see them were all 1/2 my age and elbow height. Very very weird. their set was a mix of a bunch of things. Mostly deathcore, but the vocals were missing the lows. There were some other parts that were different, but I was too busy ducking the sickmosh! omar from gallows was on bass for them. Then at their last song, they switched up and went into a joke acacia strain (new ion dissonance) type band and omar was on vocals. I sort of like his vox better, but the music was pure silliness. the lyrics were hilarious and it was all improv. Once their set was over, everyone cleared out. Wonder ifn they's gonna come back. Lolz!!!1!.

effort, the: they were awesome. It reminded me a lot of outbreak, but had some longer parts which sounded like modern life is war. This is the type of music that I think of when people say "Emotional Hardcore" cause the singer always seems like he's having a break down on stage. they covered a gorrilla biscuit's song and I sort of knew the song. I don't listen to enough GB. but the time they played the cover, more than 1/2 the kids thaat were here before came back so there were a lot of people and a pit did start up and go for most of their set. at the very end of their set, the effort let their guitars ring out...

move ahead: ...and the boys from move ahead jumped up on stage and let the guitars ring out while the drummer swapped some stuff out. They started off sounded quit a lot like like the effort, but they sounded more like blacklisted. They did a cover, but I forgot what it was... And they also did a song second to last that was about isreal.. Without isreal, where would we get all our comics? Oh yeah, canada.

in remembrance: lots of their friends/fans were here and danced pretty hard. but there were 2 bouncers and then 2 of his friends who are here a lot. They kept throwing people away from their side. One of the times, the guy, bill, hit something hard cause of it and mosh brian, matt lacasse and a couple othere people got up in the bouncer's friend's face. The bouncer and daveHTF pushed them awayfrom each other and the set continued, but the 2 friends were standing right behind brian, staring at him after the set. understand that description? Me neither. Describing fights sux. If you weren't therem you don't understand. Their set was short, but awesome. After or before every song they played, it was announce that this track will be on their upcoming rock vegas release. KM got his AD money out of this one.

harder the fight: matt lacasse joined the band. I hope I'm not the only one cracking jokes about that. Dave played mastodon to warm up. People fucking love this band. They are a really solid band so I can see why. The entire front row was screaming along and behind them, a legion or moshers and circle pitters. I was changing batteries during the "mega-riff" and missed all the claw waving. They did a cover.. Unbroken? I'm lame and don't know it.

the brethern: they didn't set up their drums ahead of time, lame. It took them a long time to set up. they got set up and then went off stage. one guitar comes back and plays some light/clean music. Finally the rest of the band joins in and a in and a goonies clip comes on. Bang. Started just like that. Josh's voice gets better and better, but the first song sounded exactly like a BDM song. I would have almost guessed it was a cover. The music diverged after that.

They started out with Bach. So good.

Josh's vocals are getting really good.

The only song from a video game was the mega man song, all the rest were original.
