Liddell is awesome. Unfortunately, he is one of the 5 great fighters in the ufc, and to say he would beat any Pride fighter, is just plain ridiculous.

Pride has many more top fighters, and is more entertaining.
Especially lately, the UFC looks like B class fights, compared to pride.

Of course, Fedor would own EVERY HW in UFC, as Cro Cop would own any LHW in UFC, Liddell included.
Although, that would be a good match, it would be bad for Chuck.

UFC is becoming quite lame lately, with the build up and let downs, (Liddell vs. Silva), Hughes vs GSP, now Hughes vs Penn ( which will be ok, still), All these TUF noobs getting b class brawls on national tv....Griffin excluded.

I could go on and on about this, but Ill sum it up with.....Pride, at this moment, OWNS UFC.

UFC is the little leagues compared to pride, their heavyweight division is a total joke. Liddell is good, yeah. Matt Hughes is good. Everyone else? Uhh...
Chuck Liddell even fought a few fights in Pride, and they weren't pretty. He has gotten a lot better since then, though.

Not only does Pride have a higher level of competition, but it's more entertaining too. 10 minute rounds, the yellow card system to keep things moving, and honestly I think their refs are better. UFC over the past year has just sucked, I've regretted every PPV I ordered

I do like prides yellow card system, but I hate how they are i9n a ring and when they get close to the ropes they have to restart them. that anooys the shit out of me. I like a cage with some good scoot up tight ground and pound.

pride is wayyyy more intense that UFC, but at the same time UFC was essentially forced to water itself down if they wanted to find any measure of success here. if UFC wasn't in a way handicapped by that, i bet this would be a much more fair comparison.

Cro Cop is a fuckin heavyweight. Chuck is a light heavy weight. Tim Sylvia would probably knock out Wanderlei Silva, dosn't prove anything.

Pride overall, has the better fighters then the UFC. Heavyweight is no comparison. Pride destroys the UFC in the Heavyweight division, which is probably the most important division.

Light Heavy, edge goes to Pride as well, but not by as wide a margin. Liddell is widely regarded as the #1 light heavy in the World, with Silva aslo argued to be in that spot. Couture, Ortiz and Babalu are excellent fighters and would hang with any light heavy from pride, though probably lose. They all were destroed by the Ice Man because he forced them to stand.

Middleweight. Edge UFC with Franklin, Silva, and Crow.

Welterweight. Again, edge UFC with Hughes, St. Pierre and Penn.

Lightweight. Even, or edge to Pride.

Pride definitley puts together better cards then UFC, but does subject us to ridiculous cans and no contest fights. I much prefer the octagon to the cage, and believe both orgs. should allow elbows, soccer kicks and knees to downed opponents.

One last thing folks, the UFC is doing much better financially at the moment then Pride. Pride is in deep trouble if they don't break through hear in the US. The terrible production, cheesy presentation etc. are going to make it different. Pride have trouble reaching the American culture.

You're on dope. Pride is mostly for washed up ex-UFC fighters who couldnt hang. When UFC fighters lose around 3 fights in a row, they go right to Pride, or fight Pancrase, or Rumble on the Rock, or some other queer bullshit. Oh no,

Chuck Liddell is the hardest hitter at 205 in the world. Liddell FLOORPUNCHED poor ol Kevin Randleman, then Randleman beat Crocop with a Big Barn Door left hook. And who was in RANDLEMAN'S CORNER when he blew up Crocop? CHUCK LIDDELL!!! Chuck told him how to beat him, and he DID! So if Chuck knocked out Randleman with 1 hit, and Randleman knocked out Crocop with 1 hit and some ground and pound, do the math. Crocop has the hardest left kick in the world and good punching power, not much else. Although I like Crocop, Cropcop at 205-220 would get Barney Rubbled into the mat by Chuck Liddell. Barring the left kick connecting.

Pride has a few bankable fighters, mainly Vanderlai Silva, Crocop, and yes, Fedor. Fedor is a Machine, and would pretty much wipe out anyone in the world. The guy is the Terminator. But other than that, people really dont care for Japanese Bushido bullshit. yeah, some of the Rock Em, Sock Em robots type shit is fun to watch, but Pride has many more washed up ex-UFC talent than it does bankable names. ie: See Loudmouth Loser Phil Baroni. He couldnt hack it in the UFC, so he went right to Pride, because he knew he might be able to stand up and knockout most of those Jap fighters without gassing out. Baroni says, who needs conditioning? And Mark Coleman and Kevin Randleman too. Watch out for those guys, the washed up crew!!!

I still love watching Liddell throw the Pylon Punch at Alister Overeem, watching Overeem's face contort into weird shapes. Blown up, blown out. Unfortunately for Chuck though, Rampage got a lucky trip on him and landed on his chest, knocking the wind out of Chuck and getting the win. But it seems Rampage is all washed up now, and cant beat Vanderlai or any other notable talent. I truely believe Chuck would still like to avenge that loss. He has layed some of the best to waste.

I'd like to see the Militech Camp go over to Pride and wipe the place out. Throw Chuck in the Militech Camp and you have the most dominant Fighting System in the world. All have the Championship Belts....... Matt Hughes, Rich Franklin, Liddell, and Tim Sylvia.

I did indeed see the Bas - Warpath fight. Warpath has a fuckin beard of granite. Gotta give him credit for that. The current Ken Shamrock would have been sleeping after one of those right hands. Bas was just cracking him.

Ken was a great fighter and a pioneer in his prime. His time away from the sport spent in pro wrestling killed him.

Bas on the other hand is a world class striker, who has studied the ground game extensivley during it's evolution to what we see in current MMA. Bas Rutten's punches are text book. I honestly believe that had it been Bas recently, not Ken, Tito would have had his hands full. Would Bas win, probably not. But it's very possible he lasts around, and possibly forces Tito to stand with him ala Forrest.

I did see the Franklin - Silva fight. I honestly thought Franklin would take it, but if he lost it would be from a punch, or combination of punches. I knew Silva had a strong clinch, but it never dawned on me that he could muscle around Rich Franklin with it. Rich is a monster at 185. Silva just cracked him in the body until he dropped his hands, then turned his nose into mooosh.

Silva is a hell of a fighter to watch. I'm looking forward to watching him pile up more highlite reel KO's. I don't see anyone in the UFC Middleweight division challenging him right now. Not unless they resign Matt Lindland.
