I don't quite understand this pairing. I'm a huge Strokes fan. Fuck all these bands jumping on the stoner bandwagon, if I want that shit I'll listen to Weedeater or Iron Monkey. Personally I like my music fast and brutal.

I respect what all these kinds of bands are trying to do, but I don't think they are doing a good job with it. Wolfmother IS similar to Zeppelin in some cool ways, but it's so dumbed down it's not funny. I mean, yeah, Zeppelin had some rockin two riff songs, but most of their songs were much more interesting than what these bands have to offer.

Just finished shooting wolfmother and am in my seat....lighting is sucking so far..except for some strobes for a minute..err more like 5 seconds...
I got like 5 pics of them @ lolla bcz I was shooting the flaming lips instead (I think) anyhow...by the time I ran into thw pit it was towards the end of the set and I guess thw pit was nuts...and he wouldn't let me in...lame...so I had to back up...way too packed..and only got 5 pics....way too hot and crowded..and now light sucks.

it blows me away how fast wolfmother blew up....they played great scott like 3 months ago.

Oh and julian (singer of strokes) is drunk..haha....and will be jumping into the pit..since I'm alone up there (except for film being projected on screens)..hopefully he does it right in the beginning but I doubt it

Oh I just saw yer post blue..when they played there, they had already started breaking out..they got there and asked where their tour bus should park. Place was packed...and they needed to hire extra security

It's supposed to end by 1130 but they aren't going to end till 1145 and the venue's gonna get fined.haha
