New site? Maybe some day.

I hit up this club in Montreal on the weekend called "Foufones Electrique". It had 3 FLOORS packed with people. Rob Zombie, Pantera, Iron Maiden they played EVERYTHING and even had a pit on the top floor that had a band in the early evening and playback later at night. They had shots for 2 bucks and craft beer for 3 bucks or less. This place was even more awesome than the clubs I knew back when I lived in Germany.
Now I know this was in a city with 6 Million people, but there's GOT to be something like this somewhere around here that one can get to. |

Montreal is a really great city for metal. I definitely don't think there is anything even close to being that awesome around here. |
|
you pretty much answered your own question. its in Montreal. there is nothing cool here. |
|
there were some smaller clubs that were that cool in pittsburgh and new york.
but new england as a whole could careless about metal. |
|
reading that is funny, considering how many hugely popular metal bands have come out of NE in the last 4 years |

The Sting in New Britian, CT used to be bad ass. |
|

I've gotten shitfaced at Foufones Electrique several times. Steven Henry does lights there. I remember the first time I was there they spun Blood For Blood covering the Wretched Ones "Going Down the Bar", I was wicked fired up. Short and simple, best metal club on earth. |
