I need Season 1-3 on my desk by the end of the day. |
not too crazy about this show....Ive watched a couple of episodes, and it didnt really impress me too much.
Maybe I'll give it another shot now that deadwood is gone. |
i loved the first season havent watched anymore
This is one of the best shows on television. So fucking good. I'll admit season 1 had a couple of lulls in it to develop the characters though. Give it a chance. |
Me and the wifey just finished season 3 via Netflix. Awesome series -- I'm interested to see where it goes now that Stringer is toast and Avon is back in the clink. |

Did you finish it out? What did you think? |
check out DEXTER. its about a serial killer killer. very graphic too |
I saw the first episode of that show. I'll wait till they're done with the season and then download it all. Seemed like a good show. The serial killer is the gay guy from Six Feet Under, another great show.
Show. |

It was good. and Im knee deep in season 5 now.
HBO ondemand releases the episodes a week early, so Im ahead by a week.
Dexter is also really good...Ive been watching that too. |
You mean season 4?
So did you see Season 3 as well?
Also, the torrent community really pulled through this time. The entire fourth season of The Wire has been available online for a while now. I finished watching the whole season a couple weeks ago. Some sort of HBO test screeners were leaked somehow. |
Is there a link as to were I can find the season 4 episodes? I love this show and would love to watch the rest of the episodes now.

Season 5 is going to be about the media in baltimore. |
I'm rewatching all these. Cutty just hit that girl in the face in season 3 haha. |
Omar and Marlo, gonna be poppin off, poppin mothafuckin off!!! |
Also, Lt. Dennis Mello (who is always with Colvin) is played by Jay Landsman... the real Jay Landsman.
Also, Ray Cole, the homicide detecive, is played by Robert F. Coleseberry. He's the executive producer on the show who just passed away (which is why they killed off his character and had a wake).
And does this look familiar to anyone? Hit the bird's eye view button. It's the towers and the low rises. This is like 8 blocks away from where the MDF was last year.

I've managed to only catch the second half of every other episode of this season (like clockwork, I tells ya), and it still manages to pull me in. |
I think Marlo won't even last half of season 5, my guess is Prop Joe or Spiros have Marlo killed. Prop Joe will probably be the main target, or finally the money trail from barksdale. |
No shit! Cool.
Muthafuckin Micheal went poppin at the dirty black cop. He was all kneel down, and he wouldnt so he was all BLAP....do it bitch. |

There's only 2 towers here, but in the show they say there's 6 or more. I guess they don't exist anymore, but they did. The guys who make the show (former Baltimore homicide detective and Baltimore reporter) said they filmed the scenes at two towers that had the same look and feel as the old ones did.
I'm watching the DVD commentery for season 1 and they just showed the first glimpses of the low-rises with the huge towers in the background. This is what one of the creators of the show had to say:
"That's a CGI picture. Those projects do not exist anymore. They were finally dymanited in the early 90's by the city. They were effectivly unpoliceable. They were the worst 24 hour drug markets in Baltimore but we wanted to set this tale prior to the high-rises because the high-rises created such lucrative territory for the drug traffic. So we used a couple of real towers which are actually senior citizens homes... the last two towers over on that side of the city. That's a real one behind you. And we CGI'd about 5 or 6 more at various points to create the feel of old Lexington Terrace or the Murphy homes." |
