New site? Maybe some day.

this show is basically 2 tour playing together plus 2 of the "house" bands. That's 9 bands.. Damn. There was also plenty of kids here. Or at least there were outside, but they were waiting for something (im guessing iob) before coming in.
the divining: odd that I was just listening to unearth's first full length. They reminded me a lot of that. just like most of the first bands, there weremt. Many dancers.
one dead three wounded: when they started moving around on the stage, I wasn't sure this was even the same band that I saw back in 2004. They seemed more proggie back then. After that white CD, they still play the same hardcore mixed with a splattering of southern groove riffs and even more sporadic melodic parts. |

blood stand still: from california. Sort of reminded me of death before dishonor before that went touring mad. I honestly have never heard nor even heard of this band. People kicked up a mosh during their set and it felt like I SHOULD know them, but don't.
xdeathstarx: HAH! This is the band with "7" singers. I remembered when I saw them at hellfest and my comment was "what's the point." since then they have lost on of the sheep in the flock and now only have 3 singers (7 members). When their set started, there was too many members and they were spilling out on to the floor. This kept the mosh down at first, but 2 of the singer punched around in the air for a few minutes. They ended with that one song that I know, introing it with talk about jesus's love.
I would like to say that I sneezed right between BTA and xDSx and didn't get a single "bless you." hopefully jesus reads this post and not that other one where I posted about a child molestor. I would get so many god points for snitching on this. |

becoming the archetype: they were soooo much better tonight. Everything about the sound, their stage presense, the crowd response, everything. Since xdeathstarx was here, BTA mentioned god and to come take to them if they wanted. During their setm the drummer shoke his head to tell me not to take pictures of him I guess I was blinding him and he would mess up. I felt bad about the keyboard player.. The loose connection in my synch chord made it discharge fully on him.. Sorry.
arsis: again, there weren't as many people here to see them, but their sound was so much better. somehow 2 dozen long haired kids came out of the woodwork in brockton to see arsis. Amazing. There was a little bit of moshing and a bunch of headbanging. I knew one of the songs they played and I'm not sure why. Towards the end of their set, some of the regulars came up and started to mosh. |
|
40SLS: they turned up the brutometer to 11 on this set. Each time I see them, they are heavier than the last time. people really started to mosh during their set.
in our blood: brophy was bro-wasted. Good thing adam22 was there to do guest vocals. With about a second of convincing, I got c-murderous to figure out the lighting and turn this shit into the hardcore disco party that It had to become. Awesome! In the end, a22 didn't really get on the mic. I think it's cuase the set ended early. Shame. Also, the 80 people who were outside never came in. |

James is a really nice guy and an incredible musician. I have a feeling that 'United in Regret' is gonna be the best record this year. |
