Who can tell me about them, what they can do, how they are operated, and how much they cost? I will love you long time if you do.

like you want a trigger box to play samples at a show?

toggletoggle post by menstrual_sweatpants_disco   at Aug 13,2006 5:40pm
maybe

well... who is going to be the one kicking off the samples? there are ones that are better for drummers. they have trigger pads so you don't have to pay as much attention when hitting them. $$ wise, you can just get a simple one. I have this one:

you can find them for like $189-200 on ebay. I think you can load 64 samples on it and 2 of them can be like 30+ seconds. the only thing is that it still uses smartmedia.. wtf!

Yeah, I'd be kicking it off. All I need is something ridiculously simple, though.

there are pedals that will do one sample up to 30 seconds.
I liked the korg cause you get a sequencer for free.
you load it and then click one of the 16 buttons in the front. each one is loaded with a different sample. also you get echo/reverb effects too

you dropping a bassdrop or something?

No, but that'd be cool if it could. Fooball riffs and bassdrops always go along well.
