I'm listening to the new Inepsy CD right now...the second time in a row. This is insane. Yannick send us their CDs, we got them today. We open the box as we do a lot of trades with Yannick, thinking it was for us...and here I am, a box full of Inepsy CDs for their upcoming US tour with Hellbound. I emailed them at once (I would have called but I don't have their phone number) asking if I could open a CD and pay for it once their are in town. Basically I've been checking my email every 5 minutes since then but at 3:20 I couldn't take it anymore and I just open a freaking CD.
THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD. This by far is my favorite punk (they're not hardcore) and rock n roll band right now. I put them on the same altar as Motorhead, they for sure don't have the longevity of Motorhead but man, they could open for them and Lemmy would be offering them speed, whisky, and girls in no time. They would blown away any of those headliners we got to see when Motorhead played at Lupos last year (aka Today Is The Day, Morbid Angel ?????).
THOSE GUYS FUCKING ROCK. Headbanging music, nothing else, it's fucking rock'n'roll. The CD is much better than the EP. They're the energy of Motorhead for sure, the lyrics are darker, no politics but there's war talk. WHO'S NEXT? (1st song)..Remember Hiroshima, remember Nagasaki, who's next? you get the basics.
THIS IS INSANE.
Those guys are playing at the LIVING ROOM on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd (double check for confirmation). So be there for me because I will be in freaking England (and no I'm not happy, I'm actually bumped I'm going to miss those guys).
Anybody who is into Motorhead I recommend you to go, I'm serious, I'm a Motorhead freak myself, and this is as close as you get but they have their own thing going on, it's not just a Motorhead rip off...but they do it better than anybody else.
GO OR DIE.
