IDN just finished. 5 more touring bands. I'm hoping that more people come. there is probably like 60-80 people here now. another few people would make the $$ back for the touring bands. I'm going to find out when this will end.

Yeah I definately wish OTB could've got on this show. I never know who to get in contact with to get on hall shows. I want to play a hall show bad, I'm sick of club shows.

a girl's head had a fight with the wall. the wall was still standing so I think it won. then again, she got an ambulance ride for free so maybe she won.. hm.. let's call it a draw.

toggletoggle post by JoeyCobra  at Jul 31,2006 1:07pm
thank you everyone for comming out, Ryan and I hope to bring you guys more fun in the future. Not sure when the next show will be, all depends on if the "repo man" takes my car hahaha<---except it's not quite funny

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Aug 1,2006 11:23pm

XStars Fell OnX: quick set. Hilarious. When they were done I heard someone remark "are they done or is there more of this alabama shit."

in dire need: this was their CD release. Now that they have finished up with the CD and it's out, you will be able to catch them out at shows again. Sounded really good. Some feedback from the PA. One of the grandmothers of one of the guitar players showed up and was listening in the back. their CD was pretty much CD perfect (i can say that cause I listened to the CD).

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 2,2006 9:07am
nights like these: I came in and the guitarist was warming up by playing mastodon. Wow, these guys were really good. I'm confusing them with some other band that was a whiney emo band. They sounded like cursed with a touch of southern rock to it. It sounded really good and really loud. The power went out 1/2way through their set and it took like 20 minutes for people to get it back on.

too pure to die: they were going to play first cause they are playing cabot st toonight too. But I guess they are just going to have to hall ass. I think they were sound checking with a korn song, ep! No power outages during their set at all. They just played very moshable hardcore. There were a bunch of kids dancing for them. I don't know the music but they sure did. Insert sing-along here.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 2,2006 9:23am
light this city: they played mostly songs off of a new CD that is coming out in september. But there were a few songs off the current CD. they were the most thrashy band on the show. Someone, I'm not naming names, yelled out "play and undying song" ha! if anyone bought the shirt with silhouettes, those are from picturres I took at NEMHF.

insert a hour long pause....

suicide silence: so if it wasn't said before, their drummer was with all shall perish stuck in traffic. Most people waited for them to show up and when they finally did, the kids went crazy. Stage diving, growling-along, and much moshing. There really are a lot of kid who are crazy about this band. As I said in my previous review, they are the only one of these myspace deathcore bands who actually pull off live what they put to CD. some girl got injured with her head hitting a wall. the floor was really violent for them. some big doods wiuld dance around and then just rip through a crowd of 90lbs kids.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 2,2006 9:26am
all shall perish: "hardcore kids playing death metal" was the best description I heard of this band. They do it well though. This set was actually how I found out that they had a new CD coming out. some people left right after SS, but their set was pretty much the same crowd reaction as SS.
