New site? Maybe some day.
the audio never synchs with the video |
hmmm.... comcast?
comcast always has communication errors.
home many spits do you have in your house you may need a cable amplifier |
thats odd
maybe they are working on it in your area? |
for the past 2 1/2 years? |
that long!? have you ever called them up to see what the problem is?
i mean you are paying extra to have some extra pixels of pure hd greatness. |
INTERNETS!
the basic channels are fine, but the ones that broadcast normal cable encoded for digital are so off.
also, digital cable lags behind analog cable by 8 seconds. everything's in synch |
1) you live in a condo, don't you? More than likely the cable coming into the building is split 50 million ways, much like here in my own condo.
2) Set up your cable! go into your settings menu and make sure you're not set up for digital video and analogue audio or something like that.
3) call your cable company and tell them the problem. It might be a converter in your box gone bad, or something equally simple. |
1) nope, each condo has it's own line coming in from the street
2) hm.. I'll have to look at that.
3) I will after #2. Fox is always like that. |
1) For real? You lucky, LUCKY bastard. I get shit internet speed, and my cable blows. I pay for a second digital box in my room, but the on demand feature won't work. They said theres nothing they can do, because the signal is spliced so many times that they get lost on the way. It's that way in most condo and apartments. |
aw.. you are making me blush.
you say the sweetest things about my cable |
it's because our condo only has 5 units =) |

get an amplifer and put it on your line |
the only HD channel that does not synch up is fox through my Comcast HD box, other than that comcast and HDTV rules |
and fox is the only one that counts.
so it's not just me?
that's good. |
yea its actually FOXs problem now that i think of it. I sell TVs at sears and we would get FOXHD right off a HD antenna and the audio did not synch up either. |
maybe it's just a feature that we can't understand? |
yours doesn't have this awesome advanced feature? I feel sorry for you |
For real? When I move to the new condo I was thinking of getting this with the new TV....is it worth the extra bucks? |
yes it is, HDTV is awesome |
it's not that your tv audio isnt synched with the video......your eyes arent synched with your ears. meat skewer up the nose should do the trick. |
Whenever experiencing difficulty with your cable service, as in , there is a simple, yet effective solution. Phone your cable company, and schedule an appointment for a repairman to come and service your house. When he arrives, dismember him and run some of his parts through a meat grinder. CArefully stuff natural pork casings with the meat, eventually incorporating it into a gift basket you leave on the steps of some executives at the cable company.
I don't know, just an idea.
