they used to be about me getting caught in snow storms and frolicking in strawberry fields. Lately my dreams have been about me running into people I used to know, mostly old bosses, and I kill them, blow up their business, rip their children in half by digging my nails in their head and just tearing the little shits in half, and bludgenoning their wives heads with baseball bats until their heads pop off. I assume all identities and collect money from the government for the business I destroyed, then once the government catches on I start ripping more people in half, vertical or horizontal, it all depends on if they are fat or not. The only time in six months this hasn't happened is when I dreamt I shat on some people's stairs in a mansion, lit a fire around my acclaimed dookie and dance around it.

Any one got some fucked up dreams to share?

i have nightmares fairly often. I have a love/hate relationship with them. The 12 year old boy in me is psyched to be able to see and be scared by crazy monsters/demons/murderers etc. But I also don't really sleep that well when I have nightmares, which sucks.

when i was a young kid (around 4-6) I had a nightly dream in which I was in a perpetually gloomy medieval castle setting and battled skeleton armies with swords.

the best image I've had recently in a dream was a bunch of giant mechanical spiders (kinda Matrix-y) crawling around on an immense web made of chains and hooks. At every point in the web where the chains crossed, a human head was hooked in.

most of my dreams that I remember involve someone stealing my camera gear or missing a band/entire show no matter what I do.

I had this dream last night where this kid I know stole my motorcycle and crashed it. I then found him and shot him in the head a bunch of times with a .38 special I had.

I used to have a recurring dream of an old guy with GIGANTIC bottom teeth that stuck up to his nose just sitting in the driver's seat of a pick up truck parked on the small hill next to the driveway of the house we lived in. He just stared at me.

Also, in the house my family lived in before that, I had a recurring dream that I was being chased by some sort of robot-werewolf deal, only to be trapped at the bottom of the stairs everytime.

And one time, I had a dream that I was playing basketball in my grandomther's driveway (she never had a basketball hoop), and a homeless guy asked if he could play against me. We played, I won, and he stabbed me in the chest (I assume because he lost to a 6 year old?). I actually felt like I got stabbed, woke up, it still hurt. Turns out I fell asleep on top of one of these guys:

Ben, that dream about the man with big teeth reminds me of one of the stories from 'In a Dark, Dark Room.'

Do you remember that book? There was a story where this kid is walking home at night and he keeps on running into these creepy molester looking guys and they have successively bigger and bigger teeth. The illustrations are awesome.

One of the molester dudes is on the right side of the door in this version of the cover:

I have fucked up dreams every night.... litterally.... and trust me, I wish I was kidding.

dreams are meant to be fucked up that's why they aren't reality

how boring would sleep be if you spent your dreams cooking macaroni that you weren't actually eating or going to work

ive had lots of dreams about giant spiders/snakes lately and a lot of shit that just doesn't make a lick of sense...it's awesome every time no matter how "scary" it is! then again i've got to the point where I know I'm dreaming in my dreams, which makes it that much more fun and spontaneous

95% of 'recurring dreams' are NOT recurring dreams.
Your mind tricks you into thinking that youve had the dream before, but you really havent.
Its the equivalent of DejaVu, in your sleep.

I had a dream that I was at a show (a hardcore show, which is a nightmare enough for some of you) and some girl tried to pick a fight with my drummer. She caused this huge scene and kept trying to take swings at him for no reason. I followed this girl outside and walked up to her. I had never seen this girl before in my life. She was average height but kind of fat. She had blond messy hair and glasses. I don't know what she said but she started yelling at me and just seemed so incredibly confident standing there yelling at me. at one point it was like all I could see was her mouth. I started wailing on this girl. It started with a punch in the mouth that totally startled her. She didn't make a sound for the first few punches, she just sort of took it in total disbelief. Then she started screaming and I started hitting her harder. I was hammer punching this girl and every time I caught a glimpse of what my hands were actually doing they were covered in blood. The girl was screaming, and crying big wet thick blubbery yelps and I just kept hitting her. I didn't feel good about it at all. On the other hand I didn't necessarily feel bad. But for whatever reason it took me forever to finally stop. I walked away and went back to winning the superbowl with Joe Namath.

I know that feeling.. where you think of all this history and other dreams, but then as you think about it, you never had dreams like that before.

ok.. I just was petting my cat and then nodded off for a few seconds. I had a fucked up dream about being at the middle east and leaving to drive somewhere else.
I was the middle car of 3 cars.
a car came the wrong way down the one-way street. basically he turned into my convoy, but everyone was able to stop in time. he ended up being a smiling asian with a bleach blonde mohawk

i had this dream where i walked into a room and my girlfriend was lying naked on a table. it was like a morgue or something. so i walked up to her and began to slowly cut her head off with a saw. i can remember the way it sounded as i cut through, i can remember the warmth of her blood, the way her skin collapsed as the saw went deeper, and the way everything separated as i got to the end. the whole time she was just looking at me, no reaction, no screaming, almost wanting it. it was so weird, she looked like she was dead, but her eyes just stared at me. i have mega fucked up nightmares like 4 times a night, most i dont remember. that one was so vivid though, its not so much the visual that i remember most, its the feeling of her blood and flesh.

Ya know, I haven't seen Kathryn in a little while. WHAT DID YOU DO?

I had a dream vampires killing people and were after me. I ended up in a room full of them and had a gun and was shooting at them, one of them picked up a shotgun and shot me in the back………I actually felt that pain from that one…..woke up freaked out.

Another one was that I was being hunted by the creature from Predator, it caught me and was pulling my skin off. I was mostly skinned but still alive.

The ones I hate the most though are the recurring ones, I have these frequently. One is where I am trying to call someone in a panic and cannot dial the number correctly over and over again. The panic and frustration is so real……….and another one where my teeth are all falling out, I actually wake up and take tooth inventory.

Years ago in my old house, I had a recurring dream. Damn I must of had this dream somewhere between 30 and 100 times (hazy memory) between the ages of 6 and 10. It took place in my house, the one I was living in at the time I mean, and I know it was actually a recurring dream because there were subtle differences every time. Basically the dream would start and I'd be upstairs in my house at night. Do you know when you are dreaming and you know you have to do something? Well, in this dream, I had to run downstairs into the basement, run into the next room, flip the lightswitch on with my foot, and then run upstairs. But as soon as I get to the bottom of the stairs, this strange shadow monster on the other side of the basement would slowly start making his way towards me to catch me, so I'd have to do all this and run back upstairs before I was caught. I usually got caught and the dream would end with me being pulled back into the dark basement. But it was funny, the shadow monster would sometimes be dark like a real shadow, but sometimes he would be a color. Sometimes in the dream I was moving real speed, and sometimes I could only move really really slow, like it feels like I'm in slow motion (this still happens to me in lots of nightmares). When he would catch me I'd try and punch him but my arms would move soooo slow, it wouldn't cause any damage. Then I would try to scream and I couldn't raise my voice above a whisper. Another variable in the dream is that sometimes he would be waiting for me at the top of the stairs. I would think that I escaped but he would be right there, and he'd grab me and bring me back down the stairs and the dream would end.

thats so weird. when i was about 5, i had a recurring nightmare where i was in my room, and there was a black shadow power in the corner of the room. i would get to the top of the stairs and try to yell to my mother who was sitting in the room at the bottom, but nothing would come out. the shadow would eventually make its way towards me, and in one particular instance, the shadow completely enveloped me and pulled me into it, and the dream never happened again. i attribute it to my love of the dark side.

the other week, my girlfriend wakes me up at like 4 in the morning and asks "Are you alive?" I'm wicked groggy and confused but I'm obviously alive so I'm like "Yep." And she's all super happy and hugging me and being all over me so I'm not complaining, although I have no idea what she's talking about.

In the morning she tells me that she had a dream in which there was a magical gold nugget hidden in my brain that would bring eternal wealth, and that she bludgeoned me to get it out, but it didnt work, so I said "No, no hit me harder!" She does, cracks me open and gets the gold nugget, killing me. I guess she woke up right after and was convinced she had actually killed me.
