just got home a few hours ago from a four night camping trip up near baxter state park in millenoket, maine. it was me, my girl, some of her friends, and their boyfriends - we had 12 people up there, alcohol was flowing like water, we were making almost daily trips to the store to get more booze. it was a good time, although i'm covered in bug bites, which is gay.

3 weeks later, i'm going to hermit island in maine for another week.

anyone else here like camping? got any trips planned this summer?

Camping is awesome. I'm probably camping on the Boston Harbor Islands and in the White Mountains this summer.

Camping kicks ass. I used to camp up in Millinocket Maine at the Hidden Spring campground. Good people the owners are. Their daughter is hotter than the surface of the sun, except that weird ass moustache she had going on. It was years ago. Oooooh sally.

pretty much camping anywhere is a good time. A few weeks ago we got a spot at this place in Littleton. You can't go wrong when you can get a spot that is seeming no different that any place in NH and is only 15-20 mins from your house.

i hiked the Appalachian Trail for 11 days a couple years back. Hiking isnt exactly camping, much less sedentary, but it is awesome. I really hope to do some more AT soon.

that's where i just got back from

here's another thing i'd like to bring up is that people from maine are the SLOWEST drivers i've ever been behind. big long, open road, not much traffic, speed limit should be at least 45.....the speed limit is 25, and people will not drive one mile an hour over 30. driving to the store on a beer run was a nightmare!
