Any Slowdive or MBV song would be killer. I know The Gathering did "When the Sun Hits", but their "metalness" is questionable.

Clitorture used to cover "Rockin' In The Free World" by Neil Young at practices. never did it live though. always thought "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas could be really heavy too. love that tune.

how about Crowbar doing "Dream Weaver". what a low point in their career. i don't know if that was supposed to be funny or what, but it pissed me off more than anything. that whole album kinda sucks anyways.
