I really wish that NH still had a scene. it's really hard to get shows if you don't live in Mass or maine! <br>what happened to all the clubs to play at here! AAHHHHH!

good freaking question. <br>clubs in NH are few and far between. <br>you got <br>Nashua: drifters <br>Hudson: Euphoria <br>Concord: chantilly's and Cafe eclipse <br>Manchester: Arena, compassionate cnx <br> <br>and that's about is. I remember the "good olde days" back in 1997 when the E-room was in the scene and kicking. I saw Nile and Anal Cunt there. Now I live in Ptown and the e-room has disappear up into someone's viens. <br> <br>though, not as bleak... as there is a place in Mass that is close. That is Exit 23 (Haverhill) and since haverhill is basically in NH and Exit 23 (<a href="http://www.clubexit23.com" target="_blank">http://www.clubexit23.com</a>) has a lot of kick ass bands, they are a shining star. <br> <br>As for a "scene" in NH... well, there are "scene" every where.. shit fuck crap drama scenes.. arg... where it's at in NH is to get a bunch of friends together, and rent out a VFW (like Kensington) or a KOC (rochester) or Elks lodge (concord) and have a show. Other than that, yes... you go to mass or maine and drive 1 1/2 hrs to a show. Sucks. <br> <br>Problem is, clubs cost money. shows cost money. kids have $4.50/hr money that they use to by whatever addict (CD/drugs/gas/alcohol/food/etc) which leaves little to no money for shows. There are plenty of groups putting money together for shows though (x0blackandblue0x, eric and sam, the kids in kensington, etc), but I don't know... some kids get caught up in the drama of the scene. Personally, I don't care about who hates who. I like the music. I like the fact that who ever pays $5-$10 to go to a show and see a band. Everyone show stop worrying abotu who's a 'tough guy' and who's a 'scenester' and realize that with out those people paying thier money to go to a show, there would be no show. <br> <br>now, I'm angry... time for some quality time with the woman. <br>aka PS2

goos call. i asgree with you. kensington was fun. im in the process of setting up a show at a friends back yard close to downtown exeter. (not really hardcore but interesting and agressive music, possibly black friday (my band, ex my breath on glass)) more info soon. probably mid september.

NH has more places to play then CT, all we have is the El N Gee. everything else is hall shows.

i hear the crazy cat lounge, formerly the ELVIS ROOM... ( good times man... ::sniffle sniffle:: ) is going under! (HAH >:^)) and some kids from bullmoose are trying to get it back to a bar/local band venue. <br>now at this point, all of that is basically heresay, but just imagine, Portsmouth again having some worth, aside from stupid dirty rich kids who pretend like there homeless and hang around the "D", using phrases like "right on" and asking who has "dank trees"

...buuuut there's no good bands in NH so that shouldn't be a problem.
