Legendary metal giants SUFFOCATION have begun recording their new album.

The self-titled new album is being recorded at Full Force Studios in Long Island, NY. Suffocation is the follow-up to 2004's Souls To Deny and will see a September 2006 release.

Additionally, SUFFOCATION have enlisted tattoo artist JonZig from Skingraver Tattoo Studio in Austin, TX for Suffocation’s album artwork. For more information on JonZig, please visit http://www.jonzig.com

It's been a long time since Effigy of the Forgotten, I hope this one is good.

Effigy was sick, but my favorite to this day is still Pierced from Within

same here.

Souls to Deny was pretty boring. it would be nice to hear another in the vein of Pierce From Within

I've just always thought their more technical records were boring, not terrible, just kinda in one ear and out the other. I'm not a big fan period, but Effigy was my favorite (and the Human Waste EP).

I hope it's better than Souls.

humanwaste was an awesome disc. so sludgy and good.

Souls was awesome, but the vocals were overproduced and it gets annoying. The best CD is Effigy, by far.
