ever since they put ethanol in the gas, my gas milage is down.
before, I was getting 46.9 to 52
now it's 40 to 48.

conspiracy

Could be, maybe there's something wrong with your car (like dirty fuel injectors) that might be causing it as well. I haven't noticed a change with my mileage yet.

I've noticed this too. I was talking with one of the heads of the auto school at mass bay ashland, he says ethanol is a great hype that is doing little to nothing to help consumers.

my injector were just checked like 2 weeked ago.

I've been complaining to a couple people and one other person's down about 10%. he's got a laptop hooked up to his car.

I noticed that I don't have as much power and have to have the pedal down farther to get the same speed. also gas jumped up to $2.99/gallon.

anothe guy's gas milage went up too.

Yeah my truck's fuel milage went down too ever since they put the 10% ethanol in the gas.

ethanol probably has a higher combustion rate than gasoline, which is a great thing to introduce when your gas costs over $3.00

"oh but we're trying to save the planet"
"fuck you! we're paying an extra $30 a week to save the planet! you're not doing shit!"

although gas mileage can be affected by any little thing, including tire pressure

This is true. I baby my truck and always take care of it. I think I need to balance and rotate my tires which can also help. It now costs me $74 to fill my truck, gotta love that 30 gallon tank .
